The world famous resort of St. Moritz lies on a sunny terrace in the heart of the Engadine valley. Cross Country trails: 150 km
The skiing is extensive and varied, spread over five ski areas, with cross country trails running the length of the valley. The wide choice of non-skiing activities includes skating, horse-riding, winter walks, golf, luxury shops. Après-ski ranges from the highly sophisticated to relaxed: There is something for everyone!
Skiing Area:
Beginners: The Corviglia area is reached from St. Moritz Dorf by funicular, with easy runs coming right back to the town.
Intermediates have the choice of the Piz Nair with its 8 km run to Celerina, the long runs and off-slope of Diavolezza and Sils Furtschellas.
Advanced skiers will appreciate  the challenging runs of Piz Lagalb, the Corvatsch glacier with its 10 km runs to Surlej, or the long, black Hahnensee run to St. Moritz Bad.
Snowboarding: A paradise for all standards, with four fun parks and several obstacle courses.
