Davos, in the heart of Grisons region, offers over 300 km of the world class skiing above an exciting town. The Ski Area
With
seven different ski areas, Davos is suitable for all grades, the ski-lifts
easily accessible via and efficient and frequent free ski bus system. The
neighbouring resort of Klosters is covered on the Davos area lift pass. Non
skiers will find plenty to do for walkers there are excellently prepared
footpaths and many mountain restaurants with sunny aspects..
Beginners:
The nursery slopes are close to the town
at Bolgen and Bunda and there are many nice easy runs, such as at Pischa and
Schatzalp.
Intermediates: Davos is a paradise, with wonderful long
runs on the Jakobshorn and sunny un-crowded slopes at Pischa.
Advanced: One
of the best Swiss resorts, with some testing black runs, such as on the
Jakobshorn Nord and the Weissfluhjoch. Excellent
off-piste and day long ski tours.
Snowboarding: a top resort, regularly hosting national
and international events, with half-pipes and fun parks in Parsenn and
Jakobshorn and several music bars
