Day 1:
Frankfurt -
Rothenburg
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg
o.d.t., Germanys well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman
Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening join the city walk with local guide or historic Night Watchman in
Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.

2:
Rothenburg -
Hohenschwangau (B)
Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as
Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with high-gabled houses and cobbled streets. Via Augsburg, a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trade dynasties during the Middle Ages, you reach
Hohenschwangau. Overnight at Hotel Müller or similar.

3:
Hohenschwangau -
Munich (B)
In the morning pick up your entrance tickets for the Neuschwanstein
Castle at the front desk of your hotel and visit the famous
"Cinderella Castle", built by King Ludwig II. In the late
afternoon proceed to Munich, where tour ends at approx. 7p.m.
Reverse itinerary:
Includes additionally a
visit to Linderhof Castle. Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7:30 pm.
