Day 1:
Frankfurt - Rothenburg (B)

Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with local guide or historic Night Watch-man in Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.

Day 2:
Rothenburg - Augsburg (B)

Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with highgabled houses and cobbled streets. Arrival at Augsburg in the late afternoon. Overnight at Hotel Intercity or similar.

Day 3:
Augsburg - Munich (B)

Morning free for own activities. At 02.00 pm join the daily city walk, starting at the City Hall. See all the important sights of Augsburg, which was a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon Board the coach to Munich, arrival there at about 08.00 pm.2 x Overnight at Hotel Intercity or similar.

Day 4:
Munich - Zugspitze - Munich (B)

In the morning please take the train from Munich train station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car up to Germany’s highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the Zugspitze. In the afternoon you will travel to Munich by train. Overnight as above.

Day 5:
Munich (B)

Tour ends with breakfast.

Reverse itinerary:

Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7:30 pm.
