Heidelberg & Royal Castles
5 days/4 nights, independent tour, daily departures

Day 1:
Frankfurt - Heidelberg - frankfurt

Start your tour with a regular diversified half-day trip to Heidelberg, the old university town at the banks of Neckar-River, including a visit of the inner courtyard of Heidelberg Castle and a lunchbox. After returning to Frankfurt, the rest of the day is free for own activities. Overnight at InterCity Hotel or similar.

Day 2:
frankfurt - Rothenburg (B)

Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the
Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilmann Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg.  Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.

Day 3:
Rothenburg - Augsburg (B)

Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such 

picturesque places as Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen with highgabled houses and cobbled streets. Arrival at Augsburg in the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel Intercity or similar.

Day 4:
Augsburg - Hohenschwangau (B)

Morning free for own activities. At 02.00 pm join the daily city walk, starting at the City Hall. See all the important sights of Augsburg, which is famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers). In the late afternoon board the coach to Hohenschwan-gau. Overnight at Hotel Müller.

Day 5:
Hohenschwangau - Munich (B)

In the morning pick up your entrance tickets for the Neuschwanstein Castle at the front desk of your hotel and visit the famous "Cinderella Castle", built by King Ludwig II. In the late afternoon proceed to Munich, where tour ends at approx. 7p.m.

Reverse itinerary:

Includes additionally a visit to Linderhof Castle. Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7 pm.
